So here we have the first batch of old sea dogs to roll off the table this week. I will be basing them all at the same time so these will remain unbased until then.
I enjoy painting these Wargames Foundry figures, and even more so Pirates as there are no hard and fast rules to stop me from having some artistic license when painting them.
Loki
Very nice, lovely colors...love the pants!
ReplyDeleteThank you Phil, these do give me such freedom to just paint
DeleteGreat paint Andrew and really detailed .
ReplyDeleteCheers .
Thank you Vincent
DeleteNicely done, Andrew -.Top paint splashing!
ReplyDeleteDon't normally like it when people do backgrounds like you have. But, in this case, it works. I Could see the figure's more clearly thanks to the green. Most other's go with black (at least on SD Forum they do) and I hate it - but maybe greens the way forward?
And I didn't call you Simon, this time =)
I am experimenting Roy , I normally like a clean background so you get to see the figures and not the piles of crap I have laying around but am trying alternative colours to white
DeleteLovely work Andrew. I especially like that blue and white check pattern on the short trousers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Curt
DeleteLove the striped and checkered pants.
