Biting the Bullet

A short while ago I alluded to the fact that Flames of war was going to disappear from my inventory, so at the weekend I bit the bullet so to speak and put my toys up for sale, now I am not so naive as to give these a ridiculously low price just to get rid but they are going very cheap for the time and effort put into them so if these are your cup of tea pop and take a closer look:
So here is a link to the guards armoured squadron HERE
Here is a link to my 8th army heavy tanks HERE
My tiger 1's can be found HERE
My most reluctant sale is my DAK force which can be found HERE

Work on these can be viewed by having a rummage through my blog or clickling the ww2 label. Any way what this will do is pay for a dose of shineyitis and give me back some much needed space so it has its benefits. Right must dash as James's project is calling me back for the next stage.

    2. Yes, I'm sure you will miss them when somebody starts playing that scale again which is likely to happen.;-) Still I hope you get top money for them as you deserve it.

I've long thought about basing my 15mm tanks as it both looks good, but more importantly really helps keep them in good condition and seeing your lovely armies convinces me to take that step. Love that DAK Stuka PJ!!

    1. Thank you, They are based as the plastic soldier stuff needs a bit of weight added and they store easily.

    1. I did explain in an earlier post, My regular gaming buddies dont play it and my boys are not keen. Further to this I have my eye on another period of conflict. So rather than let them gather dust unused I am offloading them.

  8. Wonderful work, you should get a very nice price on eBay for these superbly painted figs. If I played FoW, I'd be on it. I'm going to share the link with someone I know who does play.

I'm too much of a coward to auction my painted lead. I've always used BuyItNow because I'm afraid I'll slip through the cracks.

  9. If it's any consolation, I've just sold off my AWI collection, painted and castings, and, after a couple of weeks, it's more of a relief than a regret. One less project to maintain.

  10. Good luck with these. Not my scale or rules of choice, but well painted none the less. They're just lead and plastic, only as precious as we make them.
